I don't have a GO, but with my PSP 3000, it's horribly slow. The PS3 is as bad for me as it is for you (and I'm wired!). Still, I use the PS3 to download the games and port them to the PSP. The auto turn-off feature is great, and if I ever need to erase a game from the PSP, I can port it from the PS3 again in seconds!
