Personally, as a new PSP owner I would go with the Go for the same reason that I use Steam on PC. I have super fast internet and I just like all things digital 
But as for anyone that already has a PSP, the upgrade just doesn't make sense.
Also, for new customers, they better have decent wifi available to them if they want to expect to play a game within an hour or 2 of buying it.
