| bdbdbd said: @Huaxiong: I'm not stretching anything. Just pointing out the biggest flaw in the logic you are using. Why do the same game fit DVD aswell as BD, or why the same movies are available on DVD and BD? And i asked why would anyone buy Elite, because you can access the same games with Arcade just aswell. Ok, i don't get how the SD cards now relate to the subject? Arcade looks more family friendly, but what does that have to do with casuals? |
1. *Sigh*...I don't even know how to put it into words, really. All I'll say is to compare my argument to games on Blu Ray vs. DVD is wrong. Leave it out please, all you're doing is derailing my argument like this. They're 2 different issues.
2. The reason why hardcore gamers would buy an elite is, again, because of the DLC for their hardcore games and XBLA downloads, as well as installs. Why would casuals spend that extra money when they can get an Arcade SKU with a few Arcade volume discs and family games?
3. You mentioned the Wii's internal memory. But to explain the need for Wii SD cards is, once again, only derailing the thread. I'm talking strictly about the difference between the Arcade console and Elite console. Leave the PS3 and Wii out of the discussion, and I won't mention stuff like this.
4. Because, casuals will buy it for sports games or for their kids, etc. Simple games, basically.
