Nvidia has nothing to compete with the X2 part of this, their own roadmaps show the 'GT300' in Spring. They will be competing using GT200 rebrands to the "300 series" (confirmed, check their driver files).

Rumoured price is either $299 or $399; one of the cards (50 or 70) will be $299 at least due to an accidental contest notice offering it as a prize. Launch date is, uh, tomorrow.

Damn, to think one could buy a PS3 for that price of $299.

What is the power consumption on this baby?  I haven't PC gamed in years but these new GPUs would seem to be power hogs.  Of course the original model PS3 certainly was, too!
