That's it. Its not supposed to replace the 3000 or UMD, and it isn't supposed to dominated the handheld market. Its a test, a beta if you will, for the future of game distribution. And it does its job well. |
Well, you do know that if it does do well they are going to discontinue the UMD PSP and any future handhelds will be digital. Maybe even future consoles.

umm...i thought what i said was pretty straight forward. they are testing digital distribution, if it succeeds they will, of course, stop making the standard UMD PSP and only make the GO. if it succeeds, all future (at least sony) portables will be digital distribution only.
