well still on my first one bought for christmas the year of launch... never had a RROD and I do use it as a heater in winter running it 24/7 for several weeks with no reboot and just for that exception it makes up for all the RROD other people had :D
no but seriously you guys do realize you can fix a RROD yourself in about 10 minutes ??? no need to wait for it to be shipped fixed and resent to you.... you guys seating on RROD consoles as furnitures.... probably lost more time to go buy a new one... than have at hand a heat sink paste kit to do the job... you know like having a few extra light bulbs in case one blows...
