I remember people trying in the first beta, but it didn't work..

Don't know if they added it since the closed beta or not, but I also noticed that if there's a person hanging on the ledge that could pull you off in an instant kill, you can instant kill them by hitting melee and your character will kick them off the ledge.

 

The pull while hanging was in the original beta, unsure about the kick off, I've done both, you get bonus points and a medal for it.

I know the pulling off was there (and I died many times by it), but I didn't know about the kick off until yesterday.
