They have only sabotaged it where fanboys are concerned. I think the media has recieved Forza 3 very well. But fanboys of any opposite side will always play down a great game whether it's been talked up by dev or not.
Look at the 360 fanboys lash out against MGS4. That was horrendous. As was Halo 3, devs never said anything about it being best thing ever. Yet these 2 games recieved unecessary amounts of opposite fanboy BS, when both games were amazing.
You wait Uncharted 2 has had amazing reviews, yet that will get slandered all over the net by 360 fans.
With or without dev talk up Forza 3 would have got the same amount of fanboy BS. It's the internet. Go to anyone in the street, that isn't a forum poster and they would be like " Yeah Forza 3 looks great".
It's sad it happens.
I dont care and I dont see why Turn 10 should. It's a great game, with great graphics and great physics. I'll play that and Uncharted this christams so, bring it on.
