I’ve just found a very strange thing about the metacritic score and how the final numbers are rounded. Take a look at Halo3:ODST and Uncharted 2 and how they are treated differently.
HALO 3 ODST
Total score 5169 in 62 reviews= 83,3
The final score is rounded UP to 84
UNCHARTED 2
Total 2046 in 21 reviews=97,4
The final score this time is rounded DOWN to 97
wtf?

lol. How can we be sure he calculated right though... He might be biased himself.

There's a page on Metacritic linked from everywhere in their site, explaining that the overall score is a weighted average. We don't know the weights they're using on each source, so we can't replicate their calculation.
I don't give that much importance to the Metacritic average, but at least people should learn to read.
