I don’t know the last great Zombie movie I watched was Shawn of the Dead
He kept the right formula; slow and steady wins the race
Any more some crap shoot directors feel the need to “up” the fear factor by having the mindless brain feaster go bat shit and even if I only have one leg and half another I can sprint full tilt and break down doors, regardless of the fact more then 90% of my brain function has shut down I can use my body with purpose
Its real sad, scary was when you have 30+ slow shuffle zombies brought back to life by radio active alien poop that did not alert you to their presence until they are standing behind you eyes glassed with hunger “uggghhhh” they would moan as the once sturdy door splinted under the assault of a dozen fist, the only one thing on their mind…eat you
Nothing would stop them save a blow or bullet to the brain
