FF7 had 2 things: The wow factor (3D, FMVs, twist, etc.) and the Sony back-up (marketing and co-publishing), that was one of the strongest partnerships ever, leading to the Playstation domination and FF & Square becoming a household name in the West...
Uncharted 2 has the Wow factor, but Sony is not investing a bit of what they did with FF7 (and BTW, FF7 had Japan, let's see how many J's will buy U2), they're not hyping Nathan Drake to superhero-levels (USA eats superheroes), they're not putting enough Ads and doing viral mean marketing to the game... If they do that, then i can talk of the possibility...
As for moving consoles, well, Uncharted 2 will move consoles (i didn't say how many), but i don't see it being a system seller, i hope i'm wrong, because the game is that good...
