I'm a Protestant Christian but I don't agree with that. Jesus said: "Then give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's." (Luke 20:20). Let's keep things separated, please.
I don't think that mixing personal beliefs (faith) with politics is a good thing, plus, I don't usually like "Christian" politicians because an aura of hypochrisy sorrounds them...
