Anyways, Nvidia has had their 40nm DX 10.1 GPUs on the market for a few months now for OEMs and will be releasing the GT220 soon. Its a good sign of things to come. As for performance, I've been hearing interesting performance numbers. Only thing is the GT300 is completely different than what we have seen in GPUs so really I have no idea if their capabilities will be fully supported by game and software developers. |
I really doubt that given Nvidia's history. And arent the prices right now $379 HD5870 vs. $500 GTX 295?
