Growing up, I don't think there was a cooler toy for a guy than boglins. They were so great. I unfortunately only had a small one, but the big ones' eyes could move, which made them creepy but so cool. They came in boxes that were little cages and they had names and different personalities. I remember the one I had liked to stay up all night eating popcorn and watching scary movies, hence his massively exagerted bags under the eyes. Here is a great commercial for them:
