You can connect with remote-play without wi-fi. This is when you want to connect PS3 and PSP DIRECTLY though. So unless you're gonna stay in the same room as the system, you're gonna get some lag that would make most games unplayable during remote-play. Go too far and your video's and music will start skipping. We won't really know if this has improved with the Go. However if you're away from home and find a wi-fi spot and you've set your PS3 to remote start, it will work just fine. You're PS3 doesn't have to be set up through a wi-fi connection as well, of course. |
Thanks, Yeah, i was talking about remote-play. So i don't need wi-fi at all for it, it will only be laggy. I'm sure i will use wi-fi where i can at other places, as long as it is free.
Also about your last sentence, do you mean "Does" or "Doesn't." Does it need a wifi connection or it doesn't need a wifi connection to use remote start?
