Get a 360. They've got most of the reliability issues fixed, and the system has a much better library. Not to mention the fact that the system is pretty much guaranteed at least a decent library of games in the future, thanks to MS's commitment to porting games from their "Games for Windows" platform.

There's close to nothing worthwhile on the PS3 right now: Ratchet & Clank (of which there's four iterations on the PS2 already), Warhawk, Resistance, and... not much else. Most of what PS3 owners are looking forward to are as-yet-unreleased games, which may or may not be not worth it. (Just look at the pre-release hype surrounding Heavenly Sword and Lair...) Finally, the PS3 is more expensive, and unless you REALLY want a Blu-Ray player, you're really getting less for more.

The PS3 has a way better first year software that what the 360 had last year .And you can play most 360 games on the PC as well .And better ,as Gears of War and Bioshock are better in the PC and Viva Piñata will be as well .At least the PS3 has real exclusives and not shared with the PC ,and it has free online that effectively makes it cheaper than the 360 ,and a Blu Ray player that if you have a HDTV its a must own .Plus its still far more reliable ,I wouldnt say the 360 has the reliability issues fixed ...unless you call sending the 360 to the technic service having anything solved .
