If PD does a damage engine as similar as GPL or even GP2 (Geoff Crammond was a genius when it came to the whole F1 simulation world) then that would make me excedenly happy, that was one of the best damage simulation ever present in a video game.
You could actually feel all the hampers on your performance with such minute things like hitting the gravel and distorting your roll-bars, a small wheel-to-wheel bump would actually give you a huge perfomance impact to your suspension and brakes, and so many other things
