Better(if we are to assume Motion Wand + PS3 is better) does not mean success. Historicly in 100 years of research this has been rarely the case. Success has always gone to "good enough at the right time and price". The PS3+Motion Wand makes none of that. It's past good enough which raises the price and it's well past the right time; 3-4 years past.
It's also been proven that HDTV adoption != HD Console adoption. Often people buy TV that are good enough or what there is available and it becoming more increasing that getting a non HDTV is harder. Which invalidates the shift. Patcher as usual doesn't know what he is talking about.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
