I mean never stood out of the crowd in general, across all fields and disciplines there is nothing you've excelled at.

For example I've always achieved good grades and I'm currently doing a masters degree at university. But I can hardly say I've ever stood out of the crowd in anything.

Then No.  I actually had a class and field where I had they "Keys of the Kingdom" so to speak.  Impressed someone so much I likely had a job sitting at the most successful company in my city waiting.

Didn't go through with it though because I didn't think i'd like it.

So at the moment i'm living a "mediocre" life.

 I'd rather be happy, poor and mediocre then spectacular, rich and unhappy.
