Blasphemy! DKC is the greatest thing EVAR! The platforming and graphics in FF VI were atrocious compared to DKC. I'll give it to the music though. They were equal in that regard.

DKC was superior in many aspects to FFVI, but FFVI had the upper hand in music, depth and sheer playability. I don't mean this in a bad way, but DKC (the original) had a bit of level rehashing, especially in the Ruins kind of levels, they always felt like i was playing the same level over and over again.
Mind you, DKC 2 solved that problem, and that's why to me it's one of my top 10 SNES games of all time ;)
