Is the Wii now the home of split-screen multiplayer games?

It's an old game but Timesplitters 3 can be fun as hell. There's nothing as chaotic and fun as a flare gun war :)
+ It has a map editor!

 

Edit: Gears of War 2 has a horde mode (or something like that) that is quite fun.
