I am currently in a situation where I don't have Internet access for videogame play.  I can get email, and access the web, but not gaming.  I am able to play multiplayer, without Internet, and split-screen is important.  Well, I am now in a situation where I am noticing something here.  On the 360, there is a lack of games that use 4 player split-screen.  I am surpised about the ONLY 4 player split screen FPS title where you take on bots collectively is Perfect Dark Zero.  If anyone knows others, I would appreciate it.  And when it comes to driving games?  Well, I don't find any on the 360.  I find ONE on the PS3, and that is the sequel to Motorstorm.  On the original XBox there seemed to be more.

I was thinking this is the norm for this generation.  However, the Wii seems to be getting its share, particularly on the driving front.  What stood out here is Dirt 2 has 4 player split screen on the Wii, but NONE for the 360.

Please correct me here if I am missing things.  I would be up for knowing exceptions to all this.  So, if you know of any, please point it out, and I request you DON'T post hardcore reasons to "get with it" and say it doesn't matter.  I believe it does matter to me, as I stated above.  There are times having friends over matters more, and playing split screen, then otherwise.

I can also comment that few games get split screen right for 3 players.  In these games, I notice the norm is to give one player twice the viewing size to play in.  This is unfair in my opinion.

Ok, I am off the soapbox.
