Almost nobody gets anywhere in any of these fields without manipulating the truth to their advantage. You can either accept that it's a crucial part of how things get done, or you can spend your life being outraged by almost everybody.
It's too bad that society regularly rewards liars over the truthful, but most organizations would rather have a skillful leader than an honest one, and skillful manipulation of the truth can bring all kinds of advantages.
Don't hold your breath waiting for honest diplomats and politicians to show up. If voters actually wanted them, they probably would have elected some by now. |
Ok, so this means nothing Obama says can be believed, and nothing said by any country and the UN means anything.
Fair enough.

If you can't handle the shades of grey, I guess black and white is all you'll ever see.
PS Add republicans, democrats, lawyers, businessmen... basically, anybody who ever has to sell something to your list filthy, untrustworthy always-liars.

They have all been on that list. It's just when I add Obama to that list as well, it causes a shit load of people to get pissed off. Not sure why.
