The iPod is king of the hill for various reasons:
1. First PMP to really get the interface right
2. Constantly moving the bar to avoid being passed by the competition
3. Tying it to the iTunes service
MS is big and powerful enough to eventually make the Zune successful, but Apple will need to fall asleep at the wheel for the Zune to unseat it.
