why are people in other threads saying the damage is disappointing.... they do relaise there are 3 settings for damage i presume?

I was one who said the damage was disappointing, well because it somewhat is.With damage set to simulation I noticed the audi wuold not get anywhere near as damaged as lets say the mini cooper.I crashed audi into a wall at over 100 mph just to find a slight scrap no change in the handling, then I t-boned the car infront of he spun out but somehow recovered after somewhat of a spin and still stood in front of me.In the following turn he braked hard and I decided to ram him(at high speed),my car still unscathed and I drove off while the cpu car lost its bumper and skidded off track. You call that not disappointing?

The mini cooper damage on the other hand felt spot on.Even the slightist knock would severely affect my steering/lose my bumber and even engine trouble.

Glitches maybe? My Audi damage was fine, but my Evo damage sounds like your Audi experience. Wierd. After all this is the E3 build as confirmed over at Forzas official site. So the game will be better both graphically and physically by release. The new demo at TGS ( sadly not our demo ) sounded like it impressed the media alot.

Yes,most likely a glitch, seeing how I tried and tried to damage the blasted audi.Either way even with the way damage is now ,I dont care,I plan to preorder the collectors edition. Its been along time since a driving sim got me this excited.
