The PS2 eye toy also used full body motion tracking, and the PSEye. Check this vid "project natal debunked":

That video of the debunk was pretty cool to see.  Never saw that part of sony's motion device before.  Whether it's 2D or 3D, it demonstrated pretty well that they had the ability to go in MS direction a long time ago.  MS is doing a better job with marketing and demonstrating.  But it appears the eye toy is just as good from this video.  That was impressive.

As far as the article, I agree with most that the article was pretty positive and one small negative was focused on way more than the article focused on it.  But why couldn't MS go 60fps on the Natal since it's so technologically advanced?  That leaves me curious.  And in the article, saying a testament to Natal's power?  If it's seeing someone standing still, then it should be standing still on screen, not jittering.  That doesn't make since to me either.

Natal will be cool to try out but I'm not sure about it.  With Wii and motion control, my arm will hurt after a night of bowling or tennis or even golfing a lot with Tiger 10.  But you put your whole body into gaming, and I'm seeing a lot of phone calls from people calling in to work sick and a lot of Dr. visits.  lol

Can't wait till release to see how it performs.
