Yep, it has both of them, they officially stated at TGS that it has a three axes gyroscope and a three axes accelerometer: having a single glowing ball on one extremity they are needed to track rotations.

Without the camera you could not reliably have absolute postioning of the wand in space, but surely the gyros and accelerometers are used to "infer" the movements of the wand in those -hopefully brief- spans of time in which the ball is not visible to the camera.
