Here's the problem I see for retailers.
In order to sell software for the PSP, you have to stock two different SKUs for the same games which don't sell all that great even with one SKU. Not only that, you have to stock two different models for the same hardware, that doesn't sell all that well with one SKU. So you're expecting retailers to stock more product for fewer sales.
They need to give retailers a clear strategy on how to sell their products. Right now it seems like all Sony is doing is putting out the product and hoping some people buy it because they think it's cool. That is not a retail strategy.
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
