Once the 5870X2 comes out (and subsequently drops in price a bit), I'm totally picking one up. If a single 5870 beats out my 4870 by that much, I can only imagine what a dual GPU will do.
Looks like I may be spending a lot on my computer next year, with these just coming out now, and then Phenom II X6s coming out later on in the year as well. :o
