After some delay, the charts:

Mind you, Just_Ben made a HTML parser for the charts so they can be automated, but unfortunately, I cannot access it for some odd reason.

A few notes:

#1 Halo continues to be.....Halo 1, and not Halo 2. It has a decent 4th week, with a 25% drop. At this point, a drop like that is normal for a game, but with 4m units sold stateside, its a very, very good number. I still expect near 6m sold by EOY. However, we should start to see Halo stay below 100% attach rates, and hold below it for the rest of the year - therefore, dont expect sales above 250k any week for the rest of the year...But should be close to it.

#2. Ace Combat has a great debut. Not the ultra-typical game, this is Namco's best opening stateside. Should wind up doing good for Christmas. Namco should be happy with these numbers if true, and 500k is a bare minimum for sales (if it was a horrible drop from now on).

#3 & #5 - Jericho & Conan - Meh. Both did pathetically for o/w. I thought Jericho might get a good bit of sales, ala Darkness, but wound up with much closer to Hour of Victory. Conan did bad too. Both could get decent multipliers if enough new users came onboard, and the Halo-kids decided to pick up good software.

#4. Half Life has another decent drop. Since it's a PC-heavy shooter, I think theres a niche basis for such a game, expecially in the wake of Halo 3. But, it should do well during late November and December.

#6-#10. Sports games. Only .skate and Madden are beastly. Both are doing fantastic. Madden is still 20% ahead of last year, and .skate is doing superb. The same can't be said for Tony Hawk and Fifa. NBA 2k8 is in the middle, and doing alright.

Next week: with more bundles, a few new games, and GH3, software could/should hit 1m for the week. I expect a similar 350k opening for GH3 on X360.

And the land of Japan:

A few notes:

#1. Meh. Everything across the board is just mediocre, but there's actually 11 software titles tracked (at points, the X360 this year had 5). Bladestorm has a very bad debut, but a good multiplier vs. Shinobi's 3k o/d. I'd expect decent sales for Christmas, and should see a decent drop with the massive boost in hardware this week.

#2. Beautiful Katamari isn't so beautiful this week. With a massive drop, it's no wonder since it's a niche game. Maybe with the VP pack-in, people might buy this since it's in the same odd-niche genre.

#3. Ah, Halo 3 does well in Japan. It's legs seem to be similar to Oblivion early on. If that was the case, we could see h3 with around 110k sales.

#4-10. Really not much to discuss. Big drops across the board. Blue Dragon is the only bright spot - VGC seems to of increased its LTD sales this week overall, by 3,000 units. Not much, but should be enough to power it ahead quite a bit with the increase in hardware this week + the Platinum edition. Rest of the titles dropped pretty bad. Oblivion's great legs seem to of faltered horrendously.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
