360 graphics progression. The reality.

I agree about Splinter Cell, I had very much sadness when I heard it was being pushed back.

I don't know about Halo Reach being a graphical darling. I mean, I think that Bungie could have made Halo 3 look like Gears of War if they wanted, but instead they chose to give gamers the king of online shooters. I'm okay with decent graphics if the game plays really well so it doesn't bother me, but it clearly is something people like to harp about. I could see Reach having better graphics than Halo 3, but not the best, because they are going to have to somehow include a multiplayer experience that is BETTER than Halo 3, and that will use up a lot of the assets available to them.

I agree with you pretty much on Halo: Reach.  I would like to see a huge graphical improvement but I am not expecting it.  Having the best multiplayer possible will probably limit what they can do graphically (somewhat).  I hope we are wrong here though.
