Sad day in the history of Sega if they jump in bed with the "corporation" that BOUGHT their way to the top and in the process caused the demise of Sega as a Hardware developer.
Very sad day indeed.

Now wait a minute. Sega was in terrible shape going into the Dreamcast. It was a fun console, but Sega's management was terrible.
The Japanese and American divisions were always fighting. The system might have survived had they been on the same page, but they weren't.
Bad decisions with the 32X, Saturn, Nomad and Dreamcast led them to a weak end.
They trying to support the Genesis til 1998. At the same time of having multiple systems on the market. They had no real leadership and lost sight of where to go.

I'm at work right now, so i don't have my History of the Famicom-Playstation document with me.
Sure, Sega made some bad decisions, but unlike Sony, they didn't have BILLIONS OF $$$$$$$$ to sweep their mistakes under the carpet with.
If you don't think that Sonys financial and advertising muscle had somthing to do with Segas demise then you are wrong.
I'm not posting in here anymore, all Sega/Sony threads make my blood boil.

Sony had those billions because they were smart. Yes Sony had a hand in the demise of the Dreamcast.
But Sega as a whole was in terrible shape before the Dreamcast launched. Sega was looking at this console to be the savior for them, but the same management problems led to it's demise as well.
