CGI-Quality said: I dealt with you in an honest, upfront fashion. Did I accuse you of being some way, I don't belivee so. I said and I quote "EVEN IF YOU DON'T CARE FOR WHAT IS GOING ON". Doesn't mean that's how I feel, it says "even if you do". Beyond that, I haven't avoided anything, I'm still here debating with you aren't I, that would mean I haven't avoided you. Bottom line, people are particularly excited about the notion of receiving PS2 games with the PS3 and Dreamcast games are on the table of discussion. Whether one thing is incorrect or not is another matter, the posters in here can only go on what is reported in that source. What is reported, would be exciting if true, at least that's how I see it. One last thing, so there's not further confusion: Just because I ask you a question, or challenge what you said, it doesn't mean I'm trying to dismiss or discredit you. I have nothing against your subjectivity, in fact I applaud a good debate. It was the way you went about it, not your point, which btw, for the most part I agree with. I still can understand the excitement of the posters though... |
I am not saying getting specific titles added is a bad thing. Hell, it is a great thing. I love that about the PSN, XBLA, and VC/Wii Ware already. However, people should celebrate what is on the table, and not what they would like it to be. What is on the table is different from what is being celebrated.

I make logical leaps sometimes without explaining it. I did skim over one important aspect, but not in the way you seem to be implying. They are talking about selling the games. Quote: "SCEA wants to sell all PS2 titles on PSN." This directly implies it is adding titles to the PSN rather than adding an emulator. That is, it will work the same way PSN, XBLA, VC/Wii Ware work now rather than the way PS1, (some) Xbox, and GC titles work. I missed the reference to GTA though as I noticed the God of War example first. So they are working with third parties, but it is definitly being sold as a title by title affair.
