In Baldur's Gate 2 I played an evil character and filled my party with all the good NPCs. I then screwed up their lives, royally. Jahira was a lovely druid. All the other druids knew I was evil and when they confronted us I guilted her into sticking up for me. They kicked her out of the druid brotherhood and her conscience wouldn't let her stay in my party. She left and wanders the world friendless, alone and hunted by her former friends. I let the evil drow get burned at the stake by the good peoples of Baldur's Gate.
Can't remember what I did to Minsc, but the paladin wanna-be? Ha. So he's part of an order of paladins but hasn't passed his final test. His sister gets kidnapped by his father's business rival. We bust in and rescue the sister and capture the evil kidnapper. The paladin wanna-be is full of rage but feels the correct course of action is to turn in the kidnapper to the authorities for punishment. I convince him that the kidnapper is evil and deserves to die at his hands. He kills the kidnapper. Flash forward to his final test to be a paladin. His god posesses him to determine if he is pure enough to be a paladin and of course his vengeful killing of the kidnapper gets him thrown out of the order. He spends the rest of the game spouting random comments about how his life has no meaning. I would laugh every time.
