What if the big annoucement is simply the release date for Gran Turismo 5 for November '09? Polyphony Digital is based in Japan, so that could be what they are referring to when they say close to home. And it is a franchise that has yet to have an official full release this gen (GTHD and GT5P don't count).
Would everyone be disappointed?
Personally I'd be quite happy...
