Thankyou , I do respect that. This is why I used the "IMO" And you are taking what I said out of context. I said soon EVEN the sworn enemies will find it hard to find reasons not to buy a PS3.
I doubt there are many sworn enemies of sony that have a PS2. If a PS2 owner does not find the PS3 appealing, why would he get one? To only play PS2 games? That is hard to understand
I think you were offended that I called it a moot point, and that is because of the fact that there is an 80 gig model out there with the all important Backwards compatability.
We are arguing different points but yours is shrouded with subtilty. It is a shame that there is not a $400 model with BC, I agree with you there. Reguardless if the decision to take it out was a bad one- it still gets a model out there for $200 less than the previous price, and if you want the 80 gig, then that is now $100 less as well.
Point is- if this BC is really that big of a deal to you, and makes you reconsider buying one- then you obviously have made a simple decision- you dont want a PS3 at its new low price- whether that is the 40 or 80 gig.
For that I applaud you, and even respect you- because I couldnt pass it up.
