The music game fad is about to run its course -- so the GH franchise has a limited lifespan.
Some day, someone will build a MMO that people want to play like WoW -- and WoW will be RIP.
Developers will start going to other publishers, allowing someone else to come up with the new franchises.
And eventually, sequels lose their zeal.
So this strategy will work today -- but could make for a poor tomorrow.
