Bethesda always speaks the truth, they're the best game developer on earth.

I agree with him. Hadn't Bungie hinted that Recon would just be an expansion nobody would have got the idea to question it's value, and ODST would be sitting steady at +90% on Meta right now.

You're not giving reviewers enough credit. If they thought the game was short, maybe that's because they actually thought the game was short. Not because it's been highlighted by the press.

Heck no way would it have caused a 5% difference ..

Wow Seece, all I can say is that's an unexpected point of view from you and I'm impressed.

@Slimebeast - I highly doubt that.  Very highly doubt it.  They seem to think 5 hours is good - I laugh at games that say the campaign is 5 hours.  I'm also one who thinks Halo is only good for Multiplayer (I feel the same about COD, although I've heard the campaign is actually very good).  The FPS genre isn't here for good stories or long campaigns - theres a few 'niche' players who truly enjoy it and may play through it more than once, but for the most part, as the 360 console can easily attest - FPS is here for multiplayer.  Everything else is just a perk.

This game isn't worth $60.  What are you paying $60 for?  A 5 hour campaign and that's it.  Why is that it?  Because 90-95% of the people looking to buy this game likely already own Halo 3.  So, technically they're paying $60, of which half is buying something they already own.  That's how they justify the price tag. However, we all know 360's aren't the nicest to the discs they play, so I guess all those people are really buying a 'backup' option in case their disc scratches and they can't play..makes total sense now!...

This should've been DLC or a download title at or around $30.  Even then, I'd be iffy buying it just because my preference on FPS and the complete lack of sense it makes to pay that much for a 5 hour campaign that probably just makes an already confusing and bad story even more confusing.  However, had they done this, I probably wouldn't go crazy trying to figure out how MS duped so many people into paying $60 for this game=/

Bravo to MS in that sense...get whatever money you can - I ain't mad atcha.  They just aren't getting my money - I have an un-brainwashed opinion of what this game is really worth, and it's not $60.
