Really, almost everyone should be happy with ODST scores:
1) if you love Halo you can shake you're head at the 'silly' low scores dragging the metacritic average score down but bask in the 100 and 90 plus reviews as the 'real deal'
2) if you see Halo as a generally great game but feel it is overrated, then you can look at the broader spread of scores, the metacritic average and feel that, this time, the score is more accurate and less influenced by hype and the Halo name
3) if you dislike Halo, etc. then there's the Italian view. Clearly the rest have fallen victim to the hype and the Halo brand name but a few bastion's of true remain to point out it's actualy really terrible.
This time, we really can all get along.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
