You guys are a piece of work. Will do anything to make Sony look like it is doing ok. No one compares handhelds with home consoles. You both know this and are just being prudes.

The PSP Go is going to be the only time this generation an entry level handheld is going to cost more than a home console. My logic still applies to everything. It's not my fault Sony is retarded when it comes to pricing structures.

And how can you say they don't have different purposes? Sure they play games, but by that logic then the iPod, the Zune, cell phones, etc are all considered consoles too? I mean they play games, right? The DS and PSP are handhelds meant for PORTABLE use. The PS3, Wii, and 360 are meant for home use which is why they come with power supplies rather than batteries.

I'm not going to argue standards for success. There is no doubt that in comparison to the Wii, the 360 has not been a success for MS considering it even reached 10 million before the Wii did. The 360 overall is still a success, though, because it's purpose was to dethrone Sony, which worked perfectly. If the PSP was meant to dethrone Nintendo in the handheld market, it hasn't reached that goal.
