With numerous wires stretched to their fullest, it's difficult to move the tower in and out of the desk. However, my order from monoprice came in last week (including a DVI-HDMI adapter) and I decided to hook it up to the TV for the day.

Running games in 1280x720 looked great! It's especially helpful that the TV is all calibrated and such while my monitor is mainly set up for seeing things rather than looking at dark corners. Since there's no desk though it's kind of difficult to control because the keyboard was on my lap and the mouse at my side on the couch (using the side of a 3 ring binder as my mouse pad). Still, trying games like Team Fortress 2 and Half-Life Episode 2 furthered my interest in getting an LCD monitor to replace my CRT as well as hooking the tower to the TV again in the future.

I commented about it in another thread, but I ran the Resident Evil 5 benchmark tool at 1920x1080, 8xAA, and everything at their highest and it looked great while running around 30fps. Sometimes there would be drops to the high 20's, but the average stayed in the low to mid 30's in the variable test. Not bad for an 8800gt and overclocked e2160, lol.
