| Soundwave said: Wii sales have dropped in Japan every year YoY since 2007 actually. The Wii has been in some trouble in Japan for a while I think, it was just masked by the fact that the PS3 was doing so much worse and Wii Fit carried the system through most of 2008. A success, healthy platform does not having declining sales from year 2 to year 3 to year 4 of its console cycle (speaking of the Japanese market). It should be accelerating not decelerating. |
why not have a decline every year?
If something is selling a record pace when it first comes out, it is bound to end up somewhere to what is considered a norm. Do you honestly expect a console to sell and these NEVER before seen constant pace for three years? it ha slike 8.5million consoles sold already, which is great considering most of japan is more into handhelds these days.
