I know what you mean, but I don't think the comparison is that good.

Uncharted was recevied very well, would probably have sold much better if it had had a strong MP element. The main thing that weight against it was length of SP.

With Uncharted 2, pretty much all signs point to ND having improved almost every aspect of the game, plus they've added a strong MP / Coop element as well. So far the fans seem very positive and Uncharted really seems to have achieved its own identify.

With R2, after a lot of initial interest from the fanbase, cracks started to show as the extent of the fundamental changes Insomniac made came to light - two weapon limit, recharging health, etc. I think R2 was actually slightly punished by some Resistnance fans for changing the base formula and adopting copycat features. A lot of the good comments and feeling I felt Resistance got was around it's retro feel, with the ability to carry all weapons, etc.

R2 released as just another FPS in many ways, and probably too close to Killzone 2. Uncharted 2 is going to be pushed as a key title for PS3, which R2 never really was in truth.

So I don't think Uncharted 2 looks like it will face many of the challenges R2 did, nor do I think Uncharted sales are as inflated due to lack of choice, bundles as Uncharted.

I think it will sell well, therefore, plus bundles have already been leaked for Uncharted 2 - so it's clearly going to get that assistance as well.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
