1.R2 has a party system that allows friends and clans to come together before entering a game
2.R2's players are not bulky like KZ2. They just feel so versatile
3.Weapons are more varied in R2. I understand KZ2 doesn't want to be too scifi but I prefer R2 because it's more tactical
4.R2 level up system takes longer to get to the highest rank and plenty more unlockables. I started enjoying KZ2 from getting all the tactician, engineer, medic badges and the rest. But once you get all those, you really don't feel like playing that much anymore.
5. Most people on my friends list that have both games have gone back to playing R2 once they got to the highest level in KZ2. I know they added 3 more levels in KZ2 with the highest being 100000 xp but there's nothing to really unlock.
6. Sniper rifle in R2 is better than KZ2.
7. You can only switch one weapon in KZ2 whereas , R2 lets u have two weapons u can of choice(u have to pick the second off the ground to switch with magnum)
8. Search and destroy in KZ2 turns into a huge mess because you have 16 vs 16 trying to disable or activate the the explosives whereas, in R2 u get divided into squads.
9. R2's ranked game is more strict because people can't join after about 2 minutes whereas, KZ2 lets people join anytime, making people cheat by letting friends help them get objectives done
10. In R2, u can play split screen with your friend in co-op and competitive,even with two different psn ids
I'll tell u a few things I like about KZ2 over R2:
The class system is well made,
Kill or protect target gives the target more places to feel safe,
Better graphics
Overall, I think Resistance 2 is underappreciated. I know the storyline isn't as good as the first, but u gotta give it up for the multiplayer.
