PC - The Numidian Invasion - View Post

Wanting to get away from ruined city of Memphis, Muttines took a tour of the province that was now under Numidia's domain.

He silently admired the great pyramyds of the Egyptians. And when he finally came to the grand pyramyd of Giza, he understood how small of an existance he was.

"Hmph"

So much effort was put to commemorate the past and deeds of the deceseased. However that effort had not helped them in actually defending their very homeland itself. No matter how grand of a memorial, the dead were dead, and all that was there before will eventually turn to nothing more than dust like the rest of the desert.

Muttines laughed as he turned around.

He felt an feeling of purpose in his life suddenly. As if he were an prophet. He will soon bring total destruction to the Egyptians and destroy their past and pave a new future.

"You can have your fucking bricks" the heir of Numidia said, as he walked towards his bodyguards.

As brief as it may be, an truce had been formed between Numidia and Spain. However, nobody expects it to last for very long.

Muttines marched his army out, and ordered them to make camp and create a fort. They will camp for now, and then head out soon to Alexandria before the other armies arrived in time. Once they take the capital, they will truly throw the Egyptians into an downward spiral. However, until then victory is not yet assured.

Ahiram couldn't abandon Siwa. He could only feel guilt that he already left the city undefended. However, he would not run anymore, not even from his shame.

Ahiram watched silently as the gates of the town was finally reopend and the surviving soldiers he commanded were reunited with their wives and children. What good was conquest, or escaping with one's life, if they had nothing left to protect? One would lose semblence of their self, and become nothing more than a drifter.

Ahiram will protect Numidia no matter what, with her glory being second to it.
