The SOCOM series is NOT shitty.  The last game happened to have some lag problems very early on that didnt demonstrate the greatness of the game.  Seriously, SOCOM has been like the greatest continuous online game since the PS2 days, minus Halo maybe.

Probably due to the lack of Zipper involvement (who had develop all earlier Socom games) because of their new project that is called MAG!!
