"the illegals"? This stupid language reminds me of the sadder aspects of living in the south. More often than I would like to admit hispanic people have their apartments vandalized under the assumption that they must be illegal immigrants. Arrows will be spray painted on the side of their apartment pointing to the door with "illegals" written underneath it, or "GO HOME" written on their windows or doors. I know a family of hispanics born and raised in Texas that have had their apartment vandalized more than onces because poor+hispanic=illegal immigrant or rather THE ILLEGALS. Just hearing them referred to that makes me sick because it shows a general lack of human compassion or empathy. Poor hispanic people aren't villains, not even those "evil" illegal ones.
