Only on the Internets... these holier than thou articles annoy me but I'll bite.

This is just a well written rant with easy to understand concepts which are actually either spun or not true. It's the kind of writing that appeals to the lowest common denominator.

All I have to say is that even in the industry that's run by profits I've had some of the greatest gaming experiences...

I enjoyed his business model which insists that developers should make games that will become classics. It's like telling the average musician to make the record that will put you into the Rock and Roll hall of fame. If everyone could make a game that would be a classic don't you think they would?

Statements like that show lack of respect for the entire gaming development community. Not only does it imply that current game developers are not trying to the best of their abilities, but that people who have revolutionized gaming are actually just regular people who decided one day to make a classic game.
