Give the original Sonic two big round ears and ta daah! You've got a blue Mickey Mouse clone! He even has the same gloves... euhm Mario has them too hehe. My opinion is you either love gloved creatures or hate them. A little bit like Michael Jackson. But sadly for Sonic he's not the king.
Seriously he looks too chubby on the first and I agree he looks best in the games featuring the chubbier italian plummer.
