My point exactly. Now if the same guy did the presentation on the RROD for BBC, then that's completely different. However, I doubt that's the case here. Plus it says he does freelance work for MS, which means they hire him off and on, and not that he is a former employee who has no ties to MS now.
Now the failure rate for PS3 in UK is 0.5%. That's definitely low enough to claim that it's consumer fault, not a hardware failure. Now 33-58% is not.
